Who We Are
Apex Scope Gears is a field optics retailer based in Prescott, Arizona. We sell binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle scopes, rangefinders and monoculars from Swarovski Optik and Vortex, tripods and carry gear from Outdoorsmans and Marsupial Gear, and inspected pre-owned optics.
Our customers are hunters, birders and shooters. We focus on helping each one choose the right glass for how they'll actually use it — not the most expensive option.
Our Values
Expert advice
We take the time to understand what you hunt, watch or shoot, and recommend glass that fits — including telling you when a cheaper option will do the job. Our buying guides share the same advice for free.
Proven brands
We stock brands with a long record in the field and strong warranty support.
Honest pricing and listings
Prices are shown up front, shipping is free on US orders over $500, and pre-owned items are photographed as the actual unit you'll receive.
Pre-Owned Optics
Premium optics hold their value, and a good used binocular or spotting scope can save you hundreds of dollars. Every pre-owned item we list is inspected, cleaned and graded, and shown with real photos of that unit. See our used binoculars and spotting scopes.
Warranty note: Vortex's VIP warranty is lifetime and transfers to the next owner, so used Vortex glass stays covered. Swarovski's current warranty runs 10 years from the original purchase and needs proof of purchase. Read Optics Warranties Explained for the details.
